There are many quetions about recent flood in the Caucasus. Yes it made much damage to some regions in the plains, but it has no much affect on climbing in the mountains. There were some small mudslides in the Baksan Valley but there were fixed in half day. Airport is in good order and there are no problems with flights now (some flights were delayed two days ago because of strong rains, but now the weather is excellent. The only problem is: Some bridges in the plains were destroed and this makes the way to Elbrus area longer (about 120 rm). This also makes transfers more expensive. <br />
